I know I've been a real bad blogger lately...shame on me! No wait.....SHAME ON MOM! But I feel I still really want to do the COTCs I've committed to it keeps me connected! I try to get Mom to blog every night but she falls asleep on me! Anywho....here we go!

Wonderful News!

Tyganas follow-up appointment was today and he was cleared!!

The vet said his eye is looking good and healed nicely.

He still has some tissue hanging off his eye but that should fall off with time.

For now we will take 3 more days of antibiotics 3 times a day and we should be free and clear!

Extra, Extra, Read All About It

Horrible News and Good News....

Last night there was a cat tussle downstairs.

It looks like Tygana got upset at Pepper for something and started chasing him around. Well Pepper got the last lick.
Tygana came into the bed with us and got on the headboard walked over to over my head and looked down.

A red tear dripped onto my pillow.

Pepper had gotten Tygana in the eye, a scratch.

I freaked out and got a piece of gauze because Tyganas eye was dripping, Oh boy was I unhappy with Pepper.

We clipped his nails....and boy was he not happy! So unhappy in fact he scratched my face! But all it left was dot of broken skin and blood...how strange.

Pepper wasn't allowed into the room the rest of the night, it acted as a Tygana sanctuary until the next day.

So I go to work this morning because I'm scheduled too and Tyganas vet doesn't open until 9am, I go in at 7:50AM

I try calling at 9.....busy busy busy

I try calling again at 9:30....ring ring baby!

So Tygana got an appt this afternoon! Thank goodness! If our vet made me wait again I would have just asked the vet I work for to look at him.

Pepper got Tygana in his bad eye and the Dr was looking at his eye like "this is wrong" and I had to explain why it was the way it was. Tygana got an eye stain but not much stain held just a dot. So now Tygana is on antibiotic drops 4 times a day for a week, then we go back to the vet when Tygana will get his eye pressure checked. I'm hoping everything will be ok.

I'm just glad for the antibiotics.

Oh babies..when will you learn.

10 days and counting!

Well starting to catch up on everything around the house and getting more used to my new schedule. This coming work and school week should be easier than any other because not a single day will I ever have to walk home for 2 miles! YAY!

So I'm hoping that either after this week or sometime during the week the blogging will be back to normal. I really need to catch up on taking pictures of Tygana and Pepper. They are enjoying the cooler weather and the open windows. So I have a question!

Cha..cha..cha...Changes!

Hey everyone! So sorry I have not updated this but I wanted to be sure of everything before I updated and to just be able to do it all at once. So here's your MC Tygana!!!


First of all, I want to apologize for Moms bad behavior, not only has she yet to record the video of Pepper but she hasn't been posting. Though I admit Mom has been quite busy this month...what with getting ready for school (she sent in an app, had to deal with the financial aid baddies (3 times), get registered, get books etc)
Then Mom started looking for a job, because well she needs one! So since Mom is going to go to school to be a vet tech that strongly recommend having experience in a vet setting, Mom has been getting wonderful stories and advice from Hansel and Teslas Mom but wanted some first hand non-volunteer animal experience. So she went about and applied at all 4 of our towns vets. 3 of them are right out front of our condos very much walking distance but of course..the one she gets is 2 miles away. MOL MOM.
So yes Mom has a job now! She's a kennel worker so she comes home smelling of weird dog slobber. Since Mom doesnt have her very own car yet Dad drops her off in the morning and she walked back her first day...ouch. So they borrowed a bike from one of my Grandpas but its his size so needless to say its too big for Mom but she tried riding it home today anyway. Not great but quicker than walking.She got a nice present from her new job.Check out that toe...OUCH!
So if you haven't guessed Mom is working the kennels....so me and pepper have just been sitting around, napping with her when she comes home and eating. Once she gets used to the new schedule shes planning on being more regular again....it might take a while though with school starting on the 30th. So sorry but Momma is trying to balance herself and we really don't want her burnt out shes no use that way. MOL We'll be back to normal ASAP

UpdAtes!!

Sorry about moms lack of posts here lately! She's had a lot going on and just STILL couldn't bring herself to do it. So now as she sits waiting she said she would do it. Pepper and I have been doing fine were getting along much better. No we don't cuddle but we sniff and don't hiss. Daddy brought home this long box with three sections so pepper and I shared it.

Hey mom here the 3 week break for the worm meds is almost over, I knw tygana and pepper won't be looking forward to it. Be on the lookout though for some pepper video coming your way soon!

Hey everyone there's a new blog out there by the BCC (Branford Compassion Club) and I noticed they are really looking for a good home for this fella named Noah.
